Medical Education Event Coordinator Role

We are a global medical technology leader, enhancing patient mobility every 8 seconds with our products and technologies. Our mission is to push the boundaries of innovation and drive forward.

As a Medical Education Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating medical education events in Australia and New Zealand, from local workshops to inter-regional programs. Your duties will include managing registrations, promotional materials, event platforms, and reporting.

You will also be required to contact venues, travel providers, catering, AV, and vendors for events. Additionally, you will handle participant travel bookings according to company policy, ensure smooth delivery of all on-site event activities (20% travel), and prepare and manage event documentation to meet global compliance standards.

Maintaining accurate records in compliance systems and supporting audits is also a key responsibility. You will process and reconcile event-related expenses via Concur, monitor budgets, track expenses, and handle accruals.

Requirements
  • Experience in event coordination, preferably in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries.
  • Organisational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CVENT, Concur, Medispend, Microsoft Office suite, and data reporting.
  • Business administration or event management qualification is ideal.
