
Parts Inventory Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising the parts inventories in regional Parts Distribution Centres (PDCs) to provide the highest possible customer fill rate while balancing working capital requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up, managing and monitoring regional parts distribution centres
- Providing online support for retail partners regarding parts issues
- Safeguarding regional parts availability
- Implementing training and process improvements
- Identifying wider product issues and developing contingency plans
- Benchmarking parts and accessory pricing against OEM and aftermarket offerings
- Establishing and monitoring logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for third-party logistics providers
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced professional with significant aftersales and operational automotive experience. This could include vehicle manufacturer or wider motor trade experience. A technical qualification in automotive parts supply chain management or a qualified background in retail parts operation is also required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skillset and be able to work across a wide scope of expectations. They should be able to leverage relationships with vendors and business partners to drive performance along key business initiatives.
A strong drive for continuous improvement and a Kaizen mentality are essential.
