About Us
Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join our Underground team at the Tropicana Gold Mine. The successful candidate will develop ventilation strategies for underground mines, provide guidance to the Ventilation Technician Team, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
This is a permanent position with a FIFO roster and minimal commute from Perth. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent, experience with underground production and ventilation practices, effective time management and decision-making skills, strong leadership and communication skills, and existing Permanent working rights in Australia.
- Achieve active safety leadership aligned with company policies and procedures
- Provide technical direction to engineering and ventilation teams
- Ensure safety and planning compliance within the mining alliance
- Manage infrastructure projects and contractors
- Implement improvement initiatives
- Hold Ventilation Officer appointment on site
