Job Overview

The APAC Entity Control Testing Manager will be responsible for implementing a control testing program within the region.

The role involves establishing a control testing plan, executing associated testing, and providing assurance to strengthen the control environment.

The manager will also support the development and delivery of an integrated control testing calendar across the region, implement sampling methodologies, and prepare clear reporting to senior leadership and governance committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the control testing plan and execute timely testing to strengthen the control environment.
  • Support the development and delivery of an integrated control testing calendar.
  • Implement sampling methodologies designed by the Global Control Testing Centre of Excellence.
  • Support business units with control validation and monitoring.
  • Prepare and deliver clear reporting to senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Work closely with leaders to support the continued maturation of the control environment.
  • Collaborate with other control testing teams in the region to support the execution of the risk-based control testing plan.
  • Proactively identify and implement testing automation and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of operational risk management and/or control experience in financial services.
  • Significant experience in relevant control testing, regulatory, examination, or Internal Audit experience.
  • Strong understanding of control frameworks, testing methodologies, and risk assessments.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Excellent critical and creative thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading and developing team members.
