Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Lubrication Specialist to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving equipment reliability through proactive lubrication services.

  • Deliver proactive lubrication services to improve plant efficiency and reduce equipment failures.
  • Implement and maintain lubrication programs, including grease application, oil changes, oil sampling, and audits.
  • Analyse oil sample results, investigate anomalies, and support failure investigations where lubrication is a factor.
  • Provide technical expertise on lubricant selection, storage, and application.
  • Maintain lubrication work plans and records, ensuring compliance with work management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lubricate equipment to prevent wear and tear
  • Monitor oil levels and condition to prevent damage
  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with maintenance and planning teams to integrate lubrication practices into plant strategies
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Qualified in lubrication techniques – LCAT 1 (essential), ICML MLT 1 (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in lubrication or reliability within heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, lubrication analysis, and reliability improvement tools
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
