Job Title: Data Architect

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team and lead a major IT enhancement project. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data lifecycle management, data security controls, and experience working with Dynamics 365 CRM applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map existing data holdings, inputs, and dependencies impacted by the project
  • Investigate and recommend optimization of the use of data holdings for different streams of the project
  • Design and implement data architecture and integration frameworks that enable best practice data lifecycle management and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize existing reporting processes, including setting standards for data accuracy and quality
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Architect in Australian Public Service settings, preferably within agencies with regulatory compliance responsibilities
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including well-developed negotiation and presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Able to build and sustain relationships; liaise with a range of stakeholders within and outside of the division
  • Adhere to the Australian Public Service Values, departmental values, and code of conduct and consistently behave in an honest, ethical, and professional way
