Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to support our organization in delivering a major IT enhancement project.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver critical enhancements to our systems and processes.
  • You will map current data holdings, inputs and dependencies impacted by the project and research options for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • In consultation with stakeholders, you will design and implement data architecture and integration frameworks that enable best practice data lifecycle management and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies and regulations.
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders to optimise existing reporting processes, including setting standards for data accuracy and quality.
  • You will monitor the effectiveness of revised and renewed data processes, adapting the approach when new information is presented.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Architect in Australian Public Service settings.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing and optimising data holdings to ensure effective execution of business operational and strategic responsibilities and goals.
  • A working understanding of data security controls required by our organisation.
