Leadership Opportunity for Fund Services Expert

This is a high-profile role that provides a unique position incorporating unit pricing, fund accounting, tax and financial reporting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for fund accounting and tax services operations including working with senior stakeholders, clients, regulators and industry forums.
  • Actively managing a team of high-quality fund and tax accountants, including training, mentoring and ongoing feedback.
  • Ongoing stakeholder relationship management, involving regular interaction with clients, brokers, custodians, auditors and offshore service centres.
  • Partnering with the sales and business development teams to facilitate revenue growth.
  • Maintaining a fluid and efficient client on-boarding process with a keen eye for detail and service excellence.
  • Ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of both internal and external financial reporting, financial regulatory reporting, statutory reporting, and variance analysis.
Requirements:
  • Significant previous experience in a similar role in Australia with fund accounting and tax experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Australian accounting standards / principles and taxation affecting asset owner & manager products, managed investments and superannuation funds.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
