Senior Fund Operations Manager

The Senior Fund Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of fund operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to fund policies.
">- Approve high-value transactions.
- Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for operational issues, providing technical expertise.
- Manage and escalate issues related to Shared Services and COEs.
- Maintain records of activities.
- Assist with compliance reviews, controls, and audits.
- Assess impacts of regulatory changes.
- Implement operational best practices.
- Lead the implementation of new funds, systems, and processes, and assist with client projects.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff; conduct performance appraisals.
- Provide staffing recommendations and make hiring decisions.
- Participate in committees and company initiatives.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Make recommendations on hiring, discipline, promotions, and bonuses.
- Identify and escalate suspicious transaction activity in daily operations.
This role requires 12+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in fund trading/custody management or supervision, knowledge of securities language and legal requirements, and strong operational and management skills within custody. A bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, business, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience is also required.
