Job Summary:

This role involves providing high-level fund, tax, and accounting expertise to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial statements, management reports, and other client deliverables in line with service agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all client deliverables meet quality standards
  • Support senior managers with team oversight and daily operations
  • Liaise with external auditors and service providers to ensure seamless communication
  • Prepare annual financial statements, periodic management reporting packs, and other relevant documents
  • Manage transaction capture, including accruals, trades, interest, distributions, and capital
  • Produce annual statutory financial reporting, including notes to the accounts
  • Assist with onboarding new funds and fund restructures as required
  • Maintain robust procedures and controls to ensure compliance and quality
  • Enter transactions into accounting software and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in process improvement projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Collaboration and effective communication with colleagues

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting or a related field
  • Relevant qualifications in accounting and/or finance (CPA/CA qualified or willing to study)
  • Experience in management and statutory reporting, e.g., Investment Management Reports and General-Purpose Financial Statements
  • Familiarity with financial instruments and asset types, such as property, loans, or private equity
  • Expertise in NAV preparation, tax/distribution calculations, and financial statement preparation
  • Audit experience with Big 4 firms is an advantage
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
