Job Summary

The role of Senior Fund Accountant is a senior-level position that requires strong technical capability and a passion for learning. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely month-end management accounts and consolidated fund reporting.

  • You will post journal entries, prepare account reconciliations, monthly consolidated fund financials, IFRS reporting, cost tracking, and budget/project variance analysis.
  • You will review and analyze property accounting prepared by external property managers, provide technical accounting and tax advisory services to the business on matters, and prepare quarterly unit price reporting to investors.
  • Your responsibilities will also include preparing annual statutory reports, involvement with financial audit and internal controls audit, tax calculations and workpapers, managing other tax compliance matters, and assisting the team with compliance, debt management, and investment administration across allocated Funds and Project entities.
  • You will be involved in the development of and system administration for accounting systems and cost management systems, prepare proper instructions for custodians as required, and participate in development projects and cost accounting.
  • In addition, you will stay up-to-date on accounting and tax legislation changes and support the business with relevant updates and training sessions.

Key Qualifications: A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA or CPA) with at least 2+ years post-qualification experience, 5+ years accounting experience, high attention to detail, and experience with large accounting systems.
