We are seeking an experienced lifeguard to provide high-quality professional lifeguarding services to all patrons and customers within our leisure centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective supervision of aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of all facility users.
  • Perform intervention and preventative actions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, the facility and equipment.
  • Enforce and educate all customers on pool safety rules and policies.
  • Identify and lead Major Incident response procedures for aquatic area major incidents.
  • Evacuate pools and assist with major incident response for major incidents in other areas of the facility.
  • Monitor patron behaviour ensuring all patrons adhere to the Yarra Leisure code of conduct.
  • Implement conflict management principles including difficult but honest conversations with patrons to ensure all patrons are safe at all times.
