Overview

Join to apply for the Pool Lifeguard (Summer Season) role at City of Stonnington.

Location: Stonnington Aquatic centres, located in Malvern and Prahran.

Employment type: Casual. Season: 2025–2026 Summer season, from November 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective supervision of aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of all facility users
  • Remain vigilant, focused, and responsive at all times
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to educate, enforce rules, and respond to incidents as needed
Qualifications
  • Current Pool Lifeguard qualification
  • Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check
Salary and Benefits

Hourly rate: $44.12 per hour (includes casual loading) + 12% superannuation.
