Summer Pool Lifeguard Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified lifeguard to provide professional services at our aquatic facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective supervision of aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of all facility users.
- Perform intervention and preventative actions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, the facility and equipment.
- Enforce and educate all customers on pool safety rules and policies, including safety protocols and sauna, spa & steam guidelines.
- Identify and lead emergency response procedures for aquatic area incidents.
- Evacuate pools and assist with emergency response for incidents in other areas of the facility.
- Monitor patron behaviour to ensure all patrons adhere to the code of conduct.
- Implement conflict management principles to ensure all patrons are safe at all times.
Requirements:
- Certification as a lifeguard from a recognised authority.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Competitive hourly rates.
This is a fixed-term contract position for our summer season only. Reapplication will be required for ongoing positions.
