Senior Manager Operational Risk Assurance

The Senior Manager Operational Risk will provide second line oversight and challenge to ensure we actively manage, escalate and resolve risks in accordance with our risk management framework. They will work with senior leaders in business, technology and risk areas to manage BAU risks as well as major projects/change.
This position offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week.
- Designing, reviewing, and delivering operational risk assurance across the business and oversight of controls to support alignment with strategy, business outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversight of control design and implementation, recurring risks and controls review, and resilience assurance and support for regulatory notifications/consultations.
- Supporting the activities to design, implement, and execute a right-sized Operational Risk Management Framework, including incident and issue management, controls assessment, independent assurance, and advisory reviews.
- Representing the second line risk function on relevant risk forums, management risk committees, project working groups, and steering committees.
- Contributing and preparing reports to aid decision making to key forums.
- Providing second-line challenge and oversight on operational risk and governance frameworks.
