Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Workforce Australia for Individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the distribution of goods and services, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Distribution Strategies: Review existing distribution policies and plans to ensure they are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the execution of distribution policies and plans, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and supplies are managed effectively.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Negotiate contracts and rates with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery times for clients.
  • Monitor Storage Strategies: Monitor storage strategies of goods to ensure they are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track Stock Movements: Use online systems to track all stock movements and re-order with suppliers at optimal times.
  • Liaise with Suppliers and Clients: Liaise with suppliers, agents, and clients to ensure that their needs are met and that orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Oversee Bookings and Purchase Orders: Oversee bookings and purchase orders to ensure that they are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet Client Requirements: Meet client requirements and work under pressure to fulfill urgent orders.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to assist and support others as required and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Time Management: Ability to accomplish objectives effectively within a given timeframe.
  • Fork Lift Licence: Fork lift licence is essential for this role.
  • Car Licence: Car licence is desirable but not essential.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation. This is a full-time position available.
