About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre. As a Cardiac Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, utilizing your expertise in Cardiac CT and MRI.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including Cardiac CT and MRI scans, to provide accurate and detailed images of the heart and its surrounding structures.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  3. Develop and implement protocols and processes to improve imaging quality and patient safety.
  4. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  5. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of your work.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
  2. Current AHPRA registration and New South Wales EPA Radiation Licence.
  3. Previous clinical experience in a Medical Imaging environment, specifically in Cardiac CT and Cardiac MRI.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Commitment to best practice and quality improvement, with a proven track record of complex problem-solving and decision-making.
