About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac MRI Radiographer to join our dynamic team at the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients undergoing cardiac MRI procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cardiac MRI scans and interpret images to diagnose and monitor cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Develop and implement protocols for cardiac MRI procedures to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members on cardiac MRI procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification with MRI specialisation is highly desirable
  • Current AHPRA registration and New South Wales EPA Radiation Licence
  • Previous clinical experience in a Medical Imaging environment, specifically with proficiency in Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • High level of communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in the application of quality improvement, industrial, risk management, and WH&S principles
