The Clinical Coordinator - Adult Survivors Program is an integrated program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse with complex needs. This role provides advanced clinical, strategic, educational and programmatic expertise and leadership in the establishment and implementation of NSW Health's new Adult Survivors Program.

This position requires a social worker to lead the establishment of local clinical networks and relationships, establish and maintain effective networks with relevant clinical streams, clinicians, and services within the LHD, and facilitate partnerships between services/streams to improve service delivery and coordination.

Key responsibilities include providing high level clinical advice and education to enhance service delivery, including supervision around violence, abuse and neglect issues. Additionally, this role requires ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, engage with stakeholders across complex environments, initiate and lead quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation, and support the development of an innovative service.

Required skills and qualifications include social work qualifications, extensive postgraduate clinical experience in providing counselling, group work, parenting and case management interventions to clients with child protection, violence, neglect and trauma, and excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills with diverse stakeholders.
