The Nursing Unit Manager is a critical leadership position overseeing the operation of an intensive care unit.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team in a rural setting, offering access to various outdoor activities, cultural events, and community services.
- Lead and coordinate the nursing and multi-disciplinary team at the ward or unit level.
- Monitor and manage business functions and processes of the ward or unit.
- As the leader of the unit, demonstrate capability through attitude, skills, behavior, and attributes.
- Demonstrate broad nursing/midwifery experience and knowledge.
- Understand and accept that patients are the central focus of service delivery.
- Demonstrate professional integrity; ethical conduct, accountability, advocacy, enabling others.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships and effective teamwork.
