About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Inventory Management Director to lead our Inbound Team.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a proactive leader who enjoys working with people and improving processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving operational and safety targets, managing rosters and timesheets, conducting performance discussions, and communicating outcomes to the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Inbound Team to achieve operational and safety targets
  • Managing transport operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and on-time deliveries
  • Overseeing daily stock receiving, storage, and inventory accuracy
  • Picking of stock for store launches and daily replenishment to ensure timely and accurate supply
  • Work closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance and performance

Requirements

Leadership and Communication Skills

A proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business results through effective communication.

Inventory Management Experience

Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices, with experience in implementing and maintaining efficient inventory systems.

Process Improvement

Ability to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, with experience in implementing changes that drive business results.

Transportation Management

Experience in managing transportation operations, including route optimization, freight audit and payment, and carrier selection.

Safety Culture

A commitment to creating a safe work environment, with experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.

Procurement

Ability to manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and evaluating supplier performance.

Financial Acumen

Familiarity with financial metrics and analysis, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
