Job Description

We're seeking a sustainability professional to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney.

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors, focusing on climate change and energy.

As a junior consultant, you will work as an analyst on multiple projects and support managers with project coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing tools for carbon-related purposes, including carbon inventories, emission profile projections, net zero emission reduction pathways, and project-based emissions.
  • Contributing to the development of carbon footprints for different organizations.
  • Undertaking environmental audits relating to greenhouse gas emissions of various facilities and providing recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering, science, environmental management, economics, or similar field.
  • Previous consulting experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in data analysis and applied quantitative work.
  • Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively autonomously and within a team-based environment.
  • Strong time management and a positive can-do attitude.
