In this role, you'll be part of a team shaping and driving our sustainability vision. You'll lead initiatives across diverse property platforms, focusing on healthcare property funds. From advancing net zero goals to managing performance ratings, you'll establish robust systems for capturing and reporting sustainability data.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sustainability strategy development at the property platform level and across property funds
  • Leading the implementation of ESG strategies with assistance from internal stakeholders and external consultants
  • Engaging and managing relevant external consultants required for implementing sustainability strategies and associated projects
  • Incorporating sustainability practices into property management operations by advising fund, asset and development managers and other property employees regarding sustainability issues
  • Staying up-to-date with current and emerging sustainability trends, particularly for property funds, and communicating to key stakeholders
  • Delivering program management and governance functions for all sustainability projects, including identifying, procuring, managing and commissioning large sustainability capex/opex programs within agreed budgets and timeframes
  • Developing and maintaining property management relationships, including internal and external parties
  • Providing direction and oversight to property managers for implementing sustainability initiatives and data capture systems and processes
  • Liaising with property and facility managers, development managers and consultant teams to engage with and influence tenants and other third-party stakeholders where required

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, property or a related field
  • Relevant property industry experience with a strong focus on asset management
  • A proven track record in developing and executing sustainability strategies
  • Strong technical expertise in sustainability and commercial property frameworks
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
