About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Distribution Officer to join our team at Linde. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debrief metro drivers to monitor planned vs actual routes and ensure paperwork aligns with scheduled work and product loaded
  • Update customer data in SAP based on driver de-brief
  • Settle delivery of inbound loads and analyze shipment control scanning
  • Finalize Metro Delivery schedules generated by auto scheduling system in conjunction with our central logistics team
  • Work closely with dispatch and operations team and our contract carrier
  • Perform administrative data entry functions relevant to distributions
  • Report hazards, injuries, and accidents in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in transport operations, such as scheduler or fleet control
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and processes, as well as MS suites
  • Experience with driver management tools, route monitoring, and scanners
  • Fast decision-making and execution skills
  • Able to learn new IT systems
