Auto Electrician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team at the Iron Bridge project.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Auto Electrician to work on a variety of ancillary equipment and be part of a team focused on upskilling and rewarding our workers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain ancillary plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet site maintenance schedules.
  • Servicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systems.
  • Read electrical schematics, diagnose, and repair 12/24V electrical systems.
  • Attend in-field breakdowns and repair faults safely and efficiently.
  • Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs.
Requirements
  • Trade certified auto electrical tradesperson.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance of large-scale mobile equipment in a mining environment.
  • Relevant post-trade experience.
  • CAT and Liebherr experience highly desirable.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Current Standard 11.
