About the Role

This exciting role is a pivotal opportunity to shape and advance our global strategy, fostering high-impact international partnerships and enhancing our Faculty's global visibility. As the Manager of Global Engagement and Partnerships in the Faculty of Science, you will play a key role in translating international opportunities into lasting and impactful collaborations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, assess, and grow global partnerships that align with our research, education, and engagement priorities.
  • International Activities Coordination: Manage international delegations, events, and agreements, ensuring alignment with University policies and compliance frameworks.
  • Internal Stakeholder Advice: Act as a trusted advisor on international initiatives, working closely with internal and external partners to coordinate and align engagement activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support the development of policies, track global trends, and help embed a culture of innovation across our international engagement portfolio.
  • Mentorship and Supervision: Mentor and supervise the International Engagement Coordinator, supporting capability development and performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in international engagement and partnership development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive data-informed approach.
  • Familiarity with the Australian higher education sector and international education policy trends.
