As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in protecting workers' health and providing guidance to clients on risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

You will contribute to enhancing environmental health and safety standards within workplaces, ensuring alignment with clients' sustainability objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding clients' reputation and promoting a healthy work environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting asbestos and hazmat audits in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential properties;">
  • Developing asbestos monitoring and remediation strategies, issuing clearances;">
  • Providing technical guidance on sites during asbestos and lead removal projects;">
  • Conducting indoor air quality, mould, and moisture assessments;">
  • Conducting occupational hygiene assessments for a broad range of contaminants;">
  • Analysing data and preparing technical reports with senior staff support, including Certified Occupational Hygienists;">
  • Assisting the team with strategy and business development.">

About You:

You hold tertiary qualifications in a scientific field, environmental management/science, health and safety, or occupational hygiene. Ideally, you bring:

  • Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to embrace new challenges;">
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;">
  • A strong report writing and project management skillset;">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;">
  • An Australian Driver's License;">
  • Some experience in measuring and assessing occupational exposure to hazards in the workplace or conducting asbestos and hazmat surveys;">
  • An Asbestos Assessors License is highly regarded.">
