Job Title: Expert Data Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Expert Data Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality consulting services to our clients, focusing on data governance, integration, and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex data governance, integration, and management projects for customers using the Actian portfolio of data solutions.
  • Solve database, integration, and analytics problems either independently or as part of a team.
  • Implement solutions to utilize Actian products to support customer needs and goals.
  • Follow and maintain support policies and procedures, processes, and best practices.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to execute project planning and management processes, design, and design review efforts, and testing activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience/knowledge with data discovery and data catalog tools such as Zeenea, Collibra, Alation, or others.
  • Knowledge of integration tools, such as Informatica, Boomi, Talend, DataConnect, DataFlow, or IBM Datastage/Transformation Extender.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one database server such as Ingres, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Informix.
  • Knowledge of business analytics applications (Tableau, PowerBI), support, and troubleshooting concepts.
