Ability Plus Disability Services offers a unique opportunity for support workers to deliver high-quality care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, community access, and recreational activities. Our team is passionate about providing person-centred care and building long-term relationships between support workers and participants.
- Assistance with personal care, including showering, dressing, bowel care, and toileting
- Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility
- Transportation and supporting social engagement
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Mandatory requirements include:
- The legal right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid (valid for three years) and CPR (valid for 12 months)

- Related qualifications (e.g. Certificate in Disability, Aged Care, and/or Home and Community Care)
Experience in supporting people with mental health and complex behaviours is highly desirable but not essential.
