  • We seek an expert actuary to support the APAC insurance business, working closely with the APAC actuarial team to deliver on key objectives.
  • Provide actuarial guidance to business functions, including profit centres, underwriting, finance, and risk management, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate quarterly management reporting requirements with regional tower leads, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Contribute to strategic portfolio reviews and deep dive analyses of select business segments within APAC.
  • Promote effective regulatory reporting for AIG's Australia and New Zealand offices, encompassing Quarterly Board and Risk committee reporting, valuation, solvency calculations, and IFRS 17 disclosures, Annual Insurance Liability Valuation Report, and Financial Condition/Stress Testing Report.
  • Review capital projections and investment strategies, incorporating ALM considerations.
