Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at Brite Services. This part-time, hybrid role is responsible for coordinating the compliance calendar; overseeing state funding internal audits; and ensuring policies, procedures and associated documents are kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Adherence: Monitor and interpret relevant education and training VET regulations, standards, funding contract requirements and guidelines to ensure Brite's compliance.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, policies, and procedures to support Brite's compliance efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to continually improve educational VET offerings and administrative practices.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Participate in regular internal audits to identify areas for improvement, preparing comprehensive reports for management and external authorities.
  • Student Records Oversight: Manage student records with strict confidentiality, accuracy, and in line with data protection regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to provide guidance, address inquiries, and ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to enhance staff awareness and understanding of regulations and protocols.

Requirements
  • Appropriate Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or experience in compliance and regulation.
  • Knowledge of VRQA Standards SNR 2015: Thorough knowledge of VRQA Standards SNR 2015 and their application.
  • VET Funding Contract Reporting Requirements: Knowledge of VET funding contract reporting requirements (VIC).
  • Databases and LMS Systems: Intermediate skills in LMS and SMS systems.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessments: Preference for Certificate IV in Training and Assessments (TAE40110 / 40116) qualification.
