Senior Planning Consultant

In this pivotal role, you will be a key figure in guiding the overhaul of conservation planning under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 2009 (EPBC Act). Your responsibilities include advising on business processes, briefing templates, guidance materials, templates, and external engagements to ensure compliance with EPBC Act requirements.

The position involves spearheading policy inputs for national conservation planning reforms for Australia's threatened species and ecological communities. You will also represent the team at crucial meetings, including the Threatened Species Scientific Committee.
