Job Opportunity: Offshore Instrumentation Expert
This is an excellent opportunity to expand and share your knowledge, working with a well-established team of industry professionals in the field. The instrumentation specialist will be responsible for ensuring that instrumentation systems on offshore platforms are properly installed, tested, and commissioned.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Verify that all systems are fully functional and meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards before they are handed over for production.
- Conduct installation checks, functional loop checks, calibration, logic verification, SIF testing & system start-up support.
- Complete commissioning/start-up tasks: logic rectification & loop tuning.
- Develop safety instrumented function test procedures.
- Perform inspections, complete punch lists and check sheets, and install instruments, heat traces, and perform fault finding and commissioning while completing hazardous area inspections.
- Comply with site workplace health and safety procedures, legislation, and policy always, creating a zero-harm workplace and manage cable tray installation and switchboard terminations.
- Requirements:
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A-Grade) - Requirement
- Cert III Instrumentation - Requirement
- Previous offshore experience - Requirement
- Oil and Gas experience - Requirement
- TBOSIET (FOET, BOSIET with CAEBS are also accepted) - Requirement
- Escape Chute (5770) - Requirement
- MSIC - Requirement
- EEHA Certificate - Requirement
- Trade Certificate - Requirement
- CPR / LVR certificates - Requirement
