Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert:Clough Wood Joint Venture maximises the life and profitability of our client's assets by delivering reliable, schedule driven and cost-effective services.This is an Expression of Interest for experienced Instrument & Electrical Technician to join our offshore team on the Bayu Undan project.This role will work within an integrated Electrical and Instrumentation team to complete electrical, process and utilities instrumentation and control systems in accordance with the 21-day planning revision cycle.This is a casual role on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation.ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with Timor-Leste Trade Trainees, provide guidance and assist in the ongoing development of a learning environmentCarry out planned maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the planned maintenance systemFault finding and rectification for electrical equipment and instrumentation system.Carrying out checks and assisting in the final commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment inclusive of all HV and LV switch gear instrumentation and design modifications.Carry out Inspection of work, hazardous area inspections, and package checks as required.Preparing technical reports and work order history for entry into the maintenance management system (e.g. SAP)Understand safety requirements, key performance indicators, quality standards and time frames required to complete scope of works.Assist Clough Wood with Timor-Leste feedback reports and development progress observationsAssist in the development of Timor-Leste Trade Trainee personnel by sharing technical skills and experience aligned to technical workbooks and offshore PRTsProvide 'hands on' operational support to teams where required.CompetencyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood analytical and organisational skillsProactive and value orientatedDemonstrated initiativeStrong coaching and mentoring skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamStrong leadership and supervisory skills.Qualifications and skillsRecognised 'A' Grade Electrical Licence.Recognised Trade Certificate of Instrument FittingCompleted Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area Certificate - endorsed to Detailed InspectionsProvide First Aid certificateLow Voltage Rescue and CPR TrainingCurrent T/BOSIETMARLINS English Language Test (if applicable)Safe Working at Heights (within 3 years from issue)Atmospheric Gas TestingHV Switching OperationsMinimum 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas construction and maintenance IndustryEnter and Work in Confined SpaceOperate Breathing ApparatusWhat we offer:Competitive salary rates3/3 rosterExcellent experience at our facilityReputable company with global parent partneringSuccessful candidates will undergo medical and background check and provide certificates and tickets for verification of competency.If you're an experienced Instrument & Electrical Technician looking to work offshore, apply now
