Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our dynamic school community. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering effective learning and teaching programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain a supportive school environment that fosters academic growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning programs that align with the school's curriculum goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic development.

The successful candidate will be accountable to the school Principal or delegate and will be required to contribute to the development and implementation of the school's objectives and school planning.

Requirements:
  • Be registered or eligible to be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and its implementation in a primary school setting.
  • Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

The successful candidate will have access to competitive salary range, annual leave with 17.5% leave loading, and other benefits as outlined in the employee handbook.
