About the Role

You will be working at our clinic in Canungra, providing physiotherapy services to Defence Force Personnel. This involves assessing patients' conditions and developing treatment plans to help them recover from injuries or illnesses.

Your duties will include conducting physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services to patients. You will also develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients with musculoskeletal injuries, conduct home visits and assist patients with rehabilitation exercises.

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments of patients' conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide guidance on rehabilitation programs to patients and other health professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.

This is a part-time position, requiring you to work 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship for security clearance purposes.
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy within the last 5 years.
  • Recent participation in professional development activities in accordance with AHPRA standards.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
  • Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

The clinic is located near the Gold Coast and Kokoda Barracks, making it easily accessible by car.
