- Balancing multiple responsibilities, including leadership, communication, team management, product oversight, and strategic decision-making.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to represent the team and advocate for their needs.
- Experience in software engineering, with a focus on Python, Django, domain modelling, HTTP and REST APIs, and robust software development.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent organisational habits, with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and team wellbeing.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, Packer, Consul, and Celery.
- Knowledge of Postgres and async processing.
- Fluency in Japanese (a plus).
