Job Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary Software Engineering Director to lead and develop a team of engineers with varying levels of experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and cultivate a team of software engineers across different experience levels, fostering collaboration, growth, and innovation.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead and participate in complex customer engagements involving comprehensive system architectures, ensuring timely delivery on agreed project milestones.
  • Engineering Process: Implement disciplined engineering processes to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality, leveraging industry best practices and technologies.
  • Software Development: Integrate and maintain platform-oriented software stacks, developing and optimizing software for the latest hardware platforms.
  • Technical Expertise: Exhibit technical leadership within the organization and externally, contributing to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other leaders as an active member of the leadership team, driving strategic decisions and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Exceptional academic achievements from both high school and university, with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant STEM field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages, experience working with Linux and operational systems software, familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu or other distro packaging.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading software engineering teams, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, including communication, feedback, and idea exchange.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, exchange feedback, and share ideas confidently.
  • Perspectives: Thoughtfulness, self-motivation, and a results-driven approach to meeting commitments, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

  • Open Source Contributions: Experience contributing to open source communities and licenses, enhancing skills and expertise in collaborative development environments.

  • Linux Virtualization, Networking, or Graphics Stacks: Knowledge of Linux virtualization, networking, or graphics stacks, expanding expertise in cloud computing, networking, and graphics programming.
  • Confidential Computing Technologies: Experience with confidential computing technologies, safeguarding sensitive data and protecting confidentiality.
