Lead Software Engineering Team

The successful candidate will oversee multiple software engineering teams, driving technical excellence and adoption of new technologies across the organisation.

This includes building capabilities for other engineering teams to utilise in creating new functionalities within their product areas, driving adoption of best practices, and developing enabling tools.

A strong technical background is required, with the ability to confidently engage with engineers on architecture, tooling, and design decisions.

5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in a B2B SaaS environment is necessary, along with 2+ years of experience leading multiple mid-sized teams (20+ engineers).

Deep knowledge of agile software development methodologies and best practices is essential, as is the ability to successfully lead teams through multiple production launches.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate technical direction effectively and partner closely with principal engineers, product leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
