Amazon is committed to creating a workplace that is safe, efficient, and healthy. We're seeking an experienced Program Manager for Workplace Health & Safety Australia (AU WHS) to build and execute programs that promote a culture of safety and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for customers and a proven track record in developing innovative solutions to complex problems. They will be able to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective strategies to eliminate hazards and risks. This role will require excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, review, approve, coordinate, and lead large-scale projects/programs within Amazon Business Units (BUs) and across different geographies.
  2. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND PARTNER ACROSS MANY ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD AND EXECUTE ON NEW INITIATIVES AND ROADMAPS EACH YEAR.
  3. Work and collaborate with stakeholders and partners to align on project/program goals and resources.
  4. COORDINATE A PORTFOLIO OF PROGRAMS/PROJECTS FROM INCEPTION TO DELIVERY. THESE MAY ALSO BE GLOBAL IN NATURE.
  5. Define and implement metrics to measure and communicate Australian program achievements.
  6. Compile, manage and report on weekly project metrics and be responsible for leading many high-profile meetings to align on project requirements.
  7. Communicate the overall program roadmap and provide periodic status updates to stakeholders, and presenting programs/projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  8. Provide program decision support, insights and recommendations through data gathering and information analyzing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
