Global Health and Safety Specialist ANZ

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in North Ryde, Australia. As a key member of the APAC Zone Health and Safety team, you will play a pivotal role in driving Philips' Health and Safety performance and reducing operational risks in Australia and New Zealand.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with H&S laws and regulations in ANZ and Pacific islands.
- Maintain and update applicable H&S licenses and permits.
- Deploy and comply with Philips Corporate Safety Standards and APAC EHS Procedures.
- Provide technical support to commercial projects and manage contractor safety.
- Advising and partnering with PRE and facility Management teams on H&S procedures deployment.
- Conduct/Organise H&S training and audits (Internal & External).
- Implementing ISO45001 certifications for ANZ under the multi-site certification framework.
- Coordinate and execute the H&S internal, external and corporate audit program.
- Manage closure of corrective actions and report compliance status to the H&S Committee and APAC H&S Leader.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a similar position in an international business environment.
- Tertiary qualification in WHS Management.
- Experience with the implementation of the ISO45001 management system or certified internal auditor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, well organized.
- Comfortable with travel required to be effective in this role on a regular basis across ANZ.
