Global Accounting Product Manager

We're systematically developing our accounting product with flexibility and functionality designed to meet the complex day-to-day local compliance needs of countries across the globe.
No two countries are the same, whether it's invoicing, tax, or compliance. These challenges are what our customers face, and our products help them solve them. To build these products, we need to understand their problems and design solutions.
As a product manager, you'll see customer challenges as opportunities. You'll use your knowledge of invoicing, tax, and rules of law to get into the fine details and find solutions others miss. You'll turn customer pain points into requirements and work with your team to solve problems they didn't know they had.
This is a unique role that requires transferable skills. You have deep accounting knowledge, but it may be from a background in software design, business analysis, implementation, change management, process engineering, transactional audits, VAT, and Invoicing law or other roles. Whatever your background, we need people who can take a research topic from scratch and turn it into a practical design that customers will use.
You must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to explain yourself with an understanding of causality. This is critical to us.
The depth and breadth of accounting features are constantly being expanded to meet real-world accounting needs of multinational businesses operating globally. Team members draw on their domain knowledge and industry expertise to define and implement features meeting all aspects of accounting.

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per year (dependent on experience)
