Aircraft Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work on complex aircraft systems.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks and repairs on aircraft systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with aircraft equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and other technicians to develop and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Aeroskills - Avionics.
  • 2 years post-trade qualification experience in aircraft/avionics maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Desirable Experience and/or Willingness to Learn:

  • Military aircraft avionics systems.
  • Confidence with tool/hand skills.
  • FLIR or WESCAM.
  • Surveillance RADAR.
  • Aircraft radio and communications.
  • Systematic yet pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Understanding wiring diagrams.
  • Unix/Linux experience.
  • CISCO and/or Fortigate networking.
  • Computer system design and administration.
