Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to provide timely and efficient administrative support to our team/department in line with current NSW Health policies and procedures.

This is a Category A position, and recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined under the General questions section at Occupational assessment screening and vaccination - FAQ.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various administrative tasks and performing duties with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the team/department, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Developing and implementing administrative procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Suitable communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to undertake various administrative tasks and perform duties with attention to detail.
  • Competent skills in computer use and relevant software programs e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook.
