Job Title

A compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist is required to deliver high-quality care within the Supportive and Palliative Care service. The successful candidate will provide advanced clinical nursing care with autonomy and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring a seamless journey through the care continuum from hospital to home.

  • Deliver advanced clinical nursing care with autonomy and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide care coordination to ensure a seamless journey through the care continuum from hospital to home.
  • Champion, educate and lead a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making according to best practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family/carers and a diverse range of healthcare providers.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Current registration with AHPRA – Division 1 Registered Nurse.
  • Post-registration qualifications in palliative care.
  • At least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in palliative care nursing.
