Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pathology Service Assistant. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working in a dynamic laboratory environment and providing exceptional support to internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for specimen reception and processing, pre-analytical preparation and processing, data entry, and report distribution. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a professional team, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About the Role
  • Receiving and processing specimens from patients and healthcare professionals
  • Preparing and processing samples for analysis
  • Entering data into our system and distributing reports to clients
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Proven keyboard skills
  • Ability to work as part of a professional team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a range of shift times between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday to Friday
  • Participation in a Saturday morning roster with shift hours 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
