Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled professional to support data-driven projects leveraging graph databases, SQL, and RESTful APIs.

This role is focused on gathering and refining technical requirements for projects involving Amazon Neptune and graph-based data models. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering teams to understand graph structures, Gremlin or SPARQL queries, and database design.

The successful candidate will use SQL to analyze, profile, and validate relational and graph-integrated datasets. They will translate business needs into API requirements and support the design and documentation of RESTful APIs.

Facilitating workshops with cross-functional teams is also a key responsibility, as well as contributing to data mapping, data lineage, and system integration documentation. Additionally, they will support testing, validation, and defect triage related to data flows and API responses.

Key Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience as a Technical BA, Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst in enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience working with Amazon Neptune or similar graph databases (Neo4j, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI), and the ability to read and interpret JSON payloads
  • Proven ability to work closely with both technical teams (data engineers, devs) and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile delivery and JIRA/Confluence
