This role is part of the Product Solutions team and reports into Senior Manager, Product Solutions. As a Product Solutions Manager, you will analyse data with business analysts to deliver key business insights and impact assessments as part of business solution design or issue investigation. You will work with stakeholders across business, operations, compliance, legal, risk, and IT teams.

You will help realise a vision of "Excellent Customer Focus" and "Rock Solid Bank" by designing business solutions and investigating regulatory and operational issues identified through regular business courses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of systems, data flows, and product, customer, and transaction data objects stored across data warehouses and data stores for Country Banking, Rabobank Online Savings, and Wholesale business lines.
  • Identifying system and corresponding data objects to be analysed for deriving business insights in relation to business changes or investigating specific business issues.
  • Using exploratory and statistical data analysis techniques to analyse large volumes of data and derive key insights to support business decision-making.
  • Conducting impact assessments as part of investigating potential regulatory breaches and business issues.
  • Visualising and storyboarding results from data analysis and exploration.
  • Contributing towards writing papers for executive committees and regulatory responses.

To be successful, you will have a degree in data science, information systems, or any equivalent engineering discipline, six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt Certification, experience in a financial services environment in Australia, experience in a data analyst role, experience of working and presenting to senior stakeholders, and competence in various tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, ETL tools, visualisation tools, and data management and governance tools.
