Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data integration solutions in a Teradata environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL/ELT jobs using BTEQ, SQL, and Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT)
  • Enhance data models and marts within a large-scale EDW
  • SUPPORT DATA PROVISIONING FOR REPORTING AND OPERATIONAL NEEDS
  • Troubleshoot and tune Teradata queries for performance
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with Teradata (Vantage preferred)
  • Strong SQL, BTEQ, and Teradata utilities knowledge
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling
  • Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage)
  • Experience with workload tuning and performance optimization
  • Exposure to tools like Control-M, Git
