Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Development Manager to lead our organisation's transformation of its asset portfolio into a world-class precinct.

This role will drive the creation of innovative and sustainable projects that enhance people's lives, focusing on community-focused integrated precinct development with various facilities. You will be responsible for managing all development aspects, including master planning, design concept, and project launch coordination.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in development management, planning, or related fields, along with 10+ years senior professional experience. They should possess excellent skills in due diligence, financial business case writing, strong commercial acumen, and negotiation abilities.

A successful Development Manager will have experience in managing green/brownfield innovative integrated precinct/destination/place-making development, including feasibility, planning, and concept design involving various facilities. They will also be able to effectively manage annual capital budgets, experience in managing tender procurement processes, providing technical planning advice, and collaborating for problem-solving.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing an ambitious strategy for a pipeline of works
  • Empowering and mentoring a high-performing development team
  • Closely collaborating with the Chief Property Officer to achieve organisational goals

As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for driving change management and innovation within the organisation, while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
